Finally understand what to use, how, and for whom: 3 hours of family aromatherapy, guided by a qualified producer, with your personalized preparation to take away.
Activity description
This workshop was designed to address a very specific need: to stop having essential oils that "smell nice" but that you don't dare use. For three hours, you'll learn the basics of simple, clear, and safe home aromatherapy, guided by a medicinal plant grower with a diploma in aromatherapy.
The session begins with a tour of the distillery focused on aromatherapy: where the oils come from, how they are produced, and what differentiates an essential oil, a floral water, and a "perfume." This is followed by a scent workshop to (re)discover key local essences (fine lavender, lavandin, etc.) and associate each scent with practical uses.
Next, let's get to the heart of the matter: the rules of use for the family (gestures, precautions, errors to avoid, choice of application methods). Then you move on to the most useful part: you create your own preparation tailored to your needs, choosing from several options (roll-on, inhaler stick, lotion, "sleep/air/cold" mix, etc.). You leave with your creation ready to use and the instructions to recreate it at home, without any improvisation!
Highlights ☀️
- Expert guidance: workshop led by a medicinal plant producer with a diploma in aromatherapy (with a field and safety approach).
- Ultra-practical teaching: you leave with simple, applicable rules and family use cases.
- A useful sensory journey: an olfactory workshop to anchor essences and avoid confusion (lavender vs lavandin, etc.).
- Creative workshop: roll-on, inhaler stick, lotion or oil blend… you make what you need and take it home!
- "Small group" atmosphere: participatory dynamics, questions/answers, personalized advice.
- Setting at the foot of the Vercors mountains: fields, mountain, and equipped site (parking, toilets, reception).

Educational sequence 👨🏻🏫
1) Home & objectives ""aroma family""
We start with your actual needs (children, colds, sleep, skin, indoor air quality) and establish a clear framework: what aromatherapy can offer… and what it shouldn't promise. The workshop is designed to empower you, not overwhelm you with information.
2) Aromatherapy-focused distillery tour
You discover from a "useful" angle: How a plant becomes an essential oil and a floral water, and why its origin and extraction method make all the difference. We transform the visit into a framework for understanding and choosing your plants more effectively.
3) Olfactory workshop: recognizing local essentials
We smell, we compare, we put words to the profiles. The objective is simple: that you can identify the key oils (fine lavender, lavandin, peppermint) and their most relevant family uses.
4) Rules for secure use (the core value)
Dosages, precautions, common mistakes: you'll leave with clear guidelines that you can apply at home. This sequence is intentionally pragmatic: safety + effectiveness + simplicity.
5) Personalized advice: "What do I choose for my needs?"
Before making the product, the instructor helps you guide your choices (winter ailments, bruises, sleep, skin, purifying the air, etc.). This is when the workshop becomes truly personalized, without generic explanations.
6) Creating your preparation (practice)
After the theory, it's time for practice with the completion of a chosen preparation:
- A roll-on for winter ailments or bruises,
- A cosmetic lotion (aftershave, makeup remover, anti-blemish) or dermatological lotion (eczema, diaper rash, allergy),
- An inhaler stick for colds,
- A blend of essential oils to help you fall asleep, purify the air, or relieve a cold.
You leave with your creation ready to use and the method to reproduce it properly.
7) Conclusion & action plan "return home"
We conclude with a simple summary: which oils to keep as a "family staple," how to store them, how to use them, and when not to use them. You're starting with a sustainable approach, not just a product.
FAQ 🙋🏻
1) Who is this workshop for?
For all those who want to use essential oils in a simple and safe way: parents, grandparents, couples, curious people… The workshop is accessible from 6 years old, but it is not recommended before 6 years old.
2) Is this a "beginner" workshop or do you need to already know about aromatherapy?
It's designed for beginners: it starts with the basics and explains everything without technical jargon. If you already have oils at home, even better: you'll finally understand how to use them correctly.
3) What exactly will I learn?
The goal is to recognize key essential oils, understand their origin (distillation and production), and above all, apply rules for family use (precautions, application methods, and selection based on individual needs). The aim is responsible self-reliance.
4) What does the ticket include?
The "aroma" tour of the distillery, the olfactory workshop, the teaching of the rules of use, the personalized support and the creation of a preparation to take away.
5) What do I make during the workshop?
You choose one of the following preparations: roll-on (for winter ailments/bruises), inhaler stick (for colds), lotion (cosmetic or dermatological), or blend (for sleep, air purification, or respiratory issues). You leave with your creation ready to use.
6) Is the workshop suitable for children?
Yes, suitable for children aged 6 and up, as the sensory experience and hands-on activities make it fun and memorable. The environment is designed to allow children to participate without trivializing the importance of safety precautions.
7) Can we come as a group?
Yes: a group rate applies for groups of 15 or more. For pre-formed groups (associations, companies, coach operators), it is recommended to contact the team for smooth organization and good communication.
8) Accessibility, parking, on-site facilities?
The site has nearby parking, restrooms, and a water fountain. Access is advertised as suitable for strollers and people with reduced mobility; if you have specific needs, contact the team for guidance on the best option.
